Training Composite Materials

Course Description

Composite materials becomes one of the most important materials in industry in many fields, therefore, studying this type of materials is important to those who are interested in the field of industry and materials design. This course is an introduction to composite material covering the main items of knowledge that may face anyone in the field in industry of composite materials.
This course covers the area of composite materials constituents with brief overview of metals, plastics and ceramic materials. The main four elements of any material will also be explained. The main types of composite structure will be discussed. The production processes for all constituents will be declared.
Processing and production of composite materials will be explained. The main types of composite processing, hand layup, filament winding, pultrusion, liquid composite molding and long fiber thermoplastic production processes will be explored in detail.
